Profile

Kelly Brannan Trail manages all aspects of, and provides leadership for, short-term programs abroad at UD, including summer faculty-led programs. Her interest in study abroad began in college where she studied in Aberdeen, Scotland for a semester, and completed her student teaching in Cameroon. While at the College of Wooster, her Independent Study Project was an historical novel titled, “Ukurikurakiza: A Journey Into the Heart of Rwandan Conflict.” Kelly came to UD in 2015 with over 7 years of experience in higher education, working with study abroad programs. She was also an adjunct instructor and Academic Coordinator for a community development study abroad program at the University of Buea in Cameroon. Currently, she is in the candidacy phase of earning her Ph.D. in International Development, with a focus on social and cultural development.
