Assistant Director, Admission and Financial Aid

B.S.B. in Marketing, Wright State University

I was born and raised in Mercer County, Ohio, or what is commonly known around here as ‘God’s Country’, due to the number of church steeples dotting the countryside! I began my career in higher education upon graduation from Wright State University in 1986 when I was offered a full-time position in the office of admission and financial aid. I was hooked! I could not imagine a different career path for myself. I came to UD in the summer of 1996 as a financial aid counselor and today wear both hats — assisting families with admission and financial aid. I think college is the most exciting time of one’s life and to be able to help students and families is the best job ever!

why I love UD

There are many reasons why I love UD, but I’d have to say the top reason is because we put the students first. From our excellent programs to extracurricular opportunities, from our state-of-the-art facilities to our beautiful grounds — these all play a part in why students (and parents) fall in love with UD from the moment they step foot on campus!
