Emily A. Hicks

Associate Professor; Director of Information Acquisition & Organization

Profile

Emily oversees the acquisition, cataloging, and processing of materials for the University Libraries as well as the management of the Libraries’ catalog and extensive holdings of electronic journals and books. She is the subject selector for music and performing arts. She recently completed 6 years of service on the university’s Academic Senate where she served as secretary for three years. She represents UD on the OhioLINK Database Improvement and Discoverability Policy Team (DIAD), formerly the Database Management and Standards Committee (DMSC). She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership in Higher Education Administration from the University of Dayton.
