A Clevelander (and proud of it) who loves to polka and to cook. A liturgist, a catechist, a musician, a Marianist religious. Published in Sisters Today, Catechumenate Magazine, The Catechist, Liturgical Ministry, and edited the Third edition of “Liturgy with Style and Grace.” A word-processing whiz-kid, and Web-Master for the Catholic Academy of Liturgy

He handles student pastoral emergencies, priest-on-call 24/7.

Gerald T. Chinchar, S.M., D.Min., is a Marianist serving as University of Dayton through sacramental ministry and as priest-on-call. He is a liturgist by training and a composer of liturgical music for the Liturgy of the Hours (sometimes referred to as "chinchant" by his "friends"). He holds Masters Degrees from St. John's University, Collegeville MN, the University of Notre Dame, and the University of St. Michael's College, Toronto, and the Doctor of Ministry from United Seminary in Dayton.
