Personal History

Scott earned his Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from Nazareth College of Rochester, NY in 2008, and a Master’s Degree in Social Foundations of Education from the University at Buffalo in 2012.  During this time, Scott worked at a coed Catholic high school in Tonawanda, NY, where he taught choral music, music theory, and composition while also serving as the Music Minister at Canisius College from 2009 until 2013.  Scott completed his M.A in Pastoral Ministry at the University of Dayton in 2015 and began his ministry in his current role in February of that same year.  Scott loves to make music, teach, and compose and feels especially privileged to oversee the Undergraduate Music Minister program through his role.  He enjoys hiking, disc golfing, and spending time with his wife, Mary Kate, and their son, Brendan.
