Early Childhood Leadership & Advocacy (ECL)

The Department of Teacher Education offers a Bachelor of Science in Education in Early Childhood Leadership & Advocacy. The early childhood leadership and advocacy (ECL) program provides knowledge and skills required of program administrators, supervisors, teacher leaders and advocates for effective leadership and advocacy in a variety of early childhood settings.

Students will be admitted to the program after earning an associate degree or equivalent in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field. Students must complete at least 54 hours from a four-year institution, 30 semester hours of which must be completed at the University of Dayton, for a minimum of 121 credit hours.
