Physical Therapy (D.P.T.)

Highly trained physical therapists are in great demand. Completing your clinical doctorate at our program will position you for immediate professional success.

The U.S. Department of Labor predicts employment of physical therapists to increase 27 percent by 2016. And the American Physical Therapy Association has called on schools to raise the educational standards for practitioners, who will be expected to have doctorate degrees by 2020.

We will prepare you to be a knowledgeable, service-oriented, self-assured, adaptable, reflective practitioner — ready to make an immediate contribution to the health and well-being of your patients.

Our three-year program prepares you for physical therapy practice, teaching, or administration and research.  Students entering the program must have completed a bachelor’s degree and specific prerequisite requirements.
