School of Education & Health Sciences Moves to a New Home

Beginning in May 2014, the University of Dayton School of Education & Health Sciences (SEHS) will embark on a bittersweet move to Raymond L. Fitz Hall (FH), located at 1529 Brown Street. Teacher Education, the Center for Catholic Education, and the Dean’s Office will be the first to leave Chaminade Hall for their new home on the sixth floor of Fitz Hall. In mid-June, Counselor Education & Human Services and Educational Leadership will follow, bidding farewell to Chaminade Hall, and Health & Sports Science will depart the Frericks Convocation Center. At that time, all SEHS programs will be together in one location.

Extensive renovations to the sixth floor of Fitz Hall have occurred over the past year, and are sure to welcome faculty, staff, students, and visitors alike as the 2014-2015 academic year begins in August. There will be 13 classrooms, two Health & Sports Sciences Labs, a STEM lab, two computer labs, a Curriculum Materials Center, and new office space.

Be sure to stop by and take a look the next time you visit UD. We would love to show you our new home!
