What I like to do in my free time: Rock climb, camp, listen to music, read, volunteer, help with our Big Brothers Big Sisters Program.

One fun fact about me: My favorite number is 24 because it was my grandma's basketball number in high school. She is now 86 and is my best friend!

Cleveland (OH) community

Laura Antel

1st year teacher

Where I went to college for undergrad: Bowling Green State University (OH)

The best thing so far about Lalanne: All the people I've met, and being able to live in community. Most master's programs don't include the community aspect, but as a beginning teacher, I think that is so helpful. Being able to talk to other teachers who understand all the ups and downs of everyday teaching life is priceless.

What I like to do in my free time: Read books and explore nature.

One fun fact about me: My wardrobe is very bright and colorful!
