Troy (OH) community

Ohio iconLalanne began in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati in 1999, with the first community house in Dayton. The first cohort of teachers served Chaminade-Julienne High School, Dayton Catholic Elementary and Corpus Christi Catholic School.

As the program took root, more school principals became interested in working with Lalanne. In 2011, Lalanne expanded into Cincinnati, opening a second community house in the Archdiocese under the leadership of then-Superintendent and ACE grad, Dr. Jim Rigg. At the same time, the need for Catholic school teachers in the rural areas of the Archdiocese surfaced in Springfield (OH) and Troy (OH).

In 2016, the Dayton community house relocated to Troy (OH).

Kathy Kane, director of certification, currently serves on the Lalanne Advisory Board as liaison from the Archdiocese.
