OAEYC Conference

On May 23, 2015, doctoral student Amy Szymaszek presented at the Ohio Association for the Education of Young Children (OAEYC) annual conference in Sandusky, OH.  The presentation focused on specific elements of the ACCESS Curriculum, primarily intentional teaching strategies including planning and assessment forms utilized to inform instructional decisions.

ZERO TO THREE National Training Institute

zero to three logoCurriculum specialist and lecturer Joy Comingore and infant/toddler teacher and adjunct instructor Ljubica “Molly” Ilc-Downing presented a poster at the prestigious ZERO TO THREE National Training Institute in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  Their poster, Supporting Executive Functioning in Young Children through Science Focused Investigations, highlighted the success of the Bombeck teachers in the older infant and toddler classrooms.  

ZERO TO THREE is the leading professional organization devoted to infant and toddler care and education.  This national, nonprofit organization provides parents, professionals and policymakers the knowledge and know-how to nurture early development.
