University of Dayton early childhood faculty and Bombeck Center teachers partnered with Rosa Parks teachers during ACCESS Curriculum training followed by ongoing, classroom embedded technical assistance and mentoring. In addition to meeting with teachers to plan curriculum and support teachers in their classrooms, Joy Comingore conducted three workshops over the course of the school year to further train teachers in the implementation of ACCESS Curriculum.  Topics of study stressed building on children’s interests, including children in the investigative process and using authentic assessment practices and methods to assess children’s learning and program success.
