The application process is online, easy and free!

Counselor Education & Human Services

Students wishing to pursue a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling, human services, or school counseling: 

  • Submit an application online.
  • Hold an undergraduate cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Applicants who have less than a 2.75 cumulative GPA must take the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) or the Miller Analogies Test (MAT). For more information, contact Gina Seiter.
  • Submit official academic transcripts directly from all previously attended colleges or universities.
  • Submit three letters of recommendation from qualified individuals.
  • Submit a personal statement.
  • Indicate on your application if you are interested in being considered for a graduate assistantship
  • You will be contacted to schedule a small-group interview with program faculty.

Educational Leadership

Students wishing to pursue a master’s degree in educational leadership: 

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university.
  • Submit an application online.
  • Submit an official undergraduate transcript with bachelor’s degree and grade point average posted.
  • Hold an undergraduate cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Applicants who have less than a 2.75 cumulative GPA may be admitted if they achieve a raw score of 40 or higher or a scaled score of 396 or higher on the Miller Analogies Test (MAT) or scaled scores of 149 or higher on the verbal ability and 4.0 or higher on the analytical writing sections of the Graduate Record Exam (GRE). For tests administered prior to August 1, 2011, a scaled score of 430 or higher on the analytical ability section is required.
  • Submit three letters of recommendation from qualified professionals.
  • Submit a personal statement or a professional resume.
