Emergency Preparedness and Response

Emergency Preparedness and Response

In the event of emergencies on campus, regular updates will be posted on the "Current Situation" link on this page.

The University of Dayton has developed and implemented an Emergency Response Plan to effectively manage emergencies impacting our community.  The plan utilizes an all-hazards approach to mitigating, responding to, and recovering from a critical incident.  The plan is tested at least once annually during an emergency preparedness exercise.

This page provides information about individual measures to be taken during an emergency, the emergency notification system, and current emergencies or situations warranting community information and updates.  Please access this information through the navigational links located on the right of this page.

If you would like to receive more information or receive personalized emergency preparedness training in your area, please complete this form so that a member of the department can contact you.
