Prior to Application

Prior to applying, please have the following:

  • Student’s engineering field(s) of interest – you can select all that apply: aerospace, bioengineering, biomechanics, chemical, civil, computer, electrical, environmental, industrial, manufacturing, materials, mechanical, undecided, other.
  • High School contact (counselor, teacher, administrator, etc.) name, email and phone number (We will inform the contact of your student’s participation in the program.)  
  • Student’s GPA (out of a 4.0 scale)
  • Method of payment – credit card

Application Next Steps

  • You will receive an automated reply confirming your deposit.
  • You will receive an email from wiecamp@udayton.edu confirming receipt of your application (please allow 5 business days for reply) and next steps for completing payment and final registration forms.
  • If you requested financial assistance, we will also email the high school contact an online form regarding student academic standing and for a recommendation.

Financial Assistance

A limited amount of financial assistance is available. If requesting financial assistance, the $100 application fee (to be applied to cost of camp) is required to reserve your spot for this camp. Please apply using the normal application process and indicate your intent to request financial assistance.  

Please submit Financial Assistance requests by MARCH 29.  After this date please call the School of Engineering at 937-229-5080 to inquire if additional funding is available.

Disability Event Statement

Individuals requiring accommodations to attend Women in Engineering Summer Camp are encouraged to contact the Office of Learning Resources with their request by June 1 in order to ensure adequate processing time. If the event is held multiple times, the University reserves the right to provide accommodations for select instances.
