Next Semester Course Registration Process

Registration usually occurs in the November timeframe for the spring semester and in the March/April timeframe for the summer and fall semesters.

Students are responsible to develop a proposed list of courses for registration for the upcoming semester by following this process:

  • Review their Degreeworks screen and their flowchart to develop a proposed list of courses.
  • Use the ‘Engr/Engr Tech Study Plan Worksheet’ in Advising Tools to document the plan for the upcoming semester or even a plan to graduation.
  • Use the ‘Time Block Calendar’ in Advising Tools or any free online tool to develop a planned schedule.
  • Review the list of proposed courses with their academic adviser. If approved, the adviser will give the student an adviser approval code that will be needed for the student to register online for the next semester.
  • Register online beginning at their specific time and date that can be found in Porches, Flyers Student Services, Registration Status.

Porches is the one-stop-shop for registration and course listings. Navigate to the Flyer Student Services tab and find the Registration Tools channel to search and register for courses.
