General Liability Insurance

The University general liability insurance provides protection for claims that the University is legally obligated to pay. Coverage is provided through a combination of self-insurance and excess liability policies.  The insurance covers liability for bodily injuries or property damaged sustained by others and accidents occuring on University premises or away from the University premises, as a result of business operations. In addition, University employees and officers are covered for claims arising from the activities of these individuals while functioning in their official capacity at the University.
