Honors Student Symposium

The Honors Student Symposium, modeled on the style of a professional conference, is an academic and social event at which senior Honors thesis students present their thesis research during spring semester. 

A typical Symposium session includes:

  • A formal presentation period
  • A question-and-answer period
  •  Informal time for the presenters to mingle with future thesis writers, their advisors, faculty, members of the administration and any other interested parties.

Everyone is welcome to attend for the entire afternoon or just the sessions of particular interest. Registration is not necessary to attend.  

The Honors Student Symposium at Stander will take place on April 17, 2024 with Honors Thesis presentations from 1:00-4:00pm in Kennedy Union.  Check back during spring semester for the presentation schedule.
