Each semester the Wellness Program provides a new schedule of classes, brown bag lunches, screenings, wellness challenges and special events.  The Wellness program offers an annual health evaluation for benefit eligible employees through a third party, confidential vendor which includes a $120.00 annual incentive off health premiums for those who choose to participate. This is offered each Fall and information will be disseminated to sign up during that time.

Participant Comments:

“I love pilates class. I don’t think I can do without it as it helps strengthen my core and staves off issues with arthritis and issues with aging”

“Melissa Ledinsky is knowledgeable, professional and keeps the class fresh and interesting. I’ve take pilates for several years and I can’t say enough about the quality of her instruction. She knows anatomy and exercise physiology and makes sure everyone can enjoy this class at his or her level. Melissa continually takes classes for instructors to bring her best teaching skills to each class”

“Candida Crasto is an excellent cycling class instructor”

“The knowledge and expertise of the instructor was the best thing about the class. Melissa is one of the best yoga teachers I have experienced. She carefully warms up, leads gently into next pose, and carefully directs the entire session”

“Modifications were made for different levels of ability. Instructors were knowledgeable and took care that we did not overdue or hurt ourselves doing the exercises wrong. Music was upbeat and fun to listen to. Classes got started on time, instructors didn’t wait for everyone to get there before starting class”

“Best experience was strength training – mixture of ages in the group and general congeniality of everyone, no music ever accompanied anything we did in the class (that was a godsend); work was adapted to each person’s individual issues/strengths/weaknesses.

“Rowing is such a great overall body workout. I can see my muscle tone and my cardio stamina improving, which were my goals”

“Zumba was the best experience. I loved the class!”

“Not having to pay to join Rec Plex to take classes really helps. It’s perfect to have a fitness facility at my workplace!”

“The Wellness gear at the end of the year is deeply appreciated”
