Our Lady of Gentle Love

Our Lady of Gentle Love

Q: What can you say about Our Lady of Gentle Love?

A: On a spring morning in 1987 in Somerville, Massachusetts, a man awoke and was bewildered to find his hands stained with pastel colors, which he smeared on his pillowcase and pajamas. He went into an adjoining room where he pursued his hobby of painting in pastel. There he was more bewildered to see the completed painting of a woman. This depiction of Our Blessed Lady, has since been named "Our Lady of Gentle Love."
