Cyberlaw Concentration with Certification

The Cyberlaw Concentration will examine the legal issues that arise when a computer or the Internet is used to communicate or exchange information. Topics covered by this concentration include cybercrimes, cybersecurity, cyberterrorism, cyberwar, digital privacy, electronic publishing, online mediation, social media, video gaming, and virtual legal services. Upon completion of the concentration, students will be well prepared to address legal problems raised by the increased use of technology to include prosecuting or defending cybercrimes.
