Message from the President
As the president of the University of Dayton School of Law Alumni Association, I encourage all UDSL graduates to become involved with the Alumni Association. It's a terrific way to stay connected to both our alma mater and classmates.
The mission of the Alumni Association is to promote the active involvement of alumni in the life of Dayton Law; to create a strong alumni network; to advocate for the needs of alumni; to assist the School of Law in recruiting a highly credentialed and diverse student body; to assist in bar passage and job placement efforts for graduates; and to encourage financial and personal support of the School of Law.
The effectiveness of the Alumni Association is directly dictated by its members' enthusiasm and involvement. Therefore, I hope you will consider donating your time or talents to assist us in maintaining an active and vibrant Alumni Association.
There are numerous ways to give back to the School of Law, while strengthening the ties that unite us as UDSL graduates.
Alumni are always needed to serve on the Alumni Association Board of Trustees and committees, help plan events and coordinate alumni gatherings in your area. And I hope you will frequently attend the many events we sponsor each year.
The Alumni Association also selects recipients for Distinguished and Honorary Alumni Awards both of which are presented each year during Alumni Weekend in May.
I encourage you to register for the Law Alumni Directory, a great resource to help you find and connect with classmates. You can also connect with UDSL on Facebook, or join the Alumni Association's Facebook group, and stay up to date with the latest news from UDSL through the Dayton Docket, the School's monthly e-newsletter.
We are always seeking out new ways to serve our members. For more information, please contact the Office of External Relations at 937-229-3793 or by email at email@example.com.
