Contracts at the University of Dayton

Entering a contract is a relatively common need for various units of the University, whether it be a memorandum of understanding with another educational institution, to a real estate purchase or lease transaction, to a letter agreement.  When a contract is needed by a unit, a question often asked is, "What's the process for this?  And who signs?"

The information on this page and the related links is meant to provide guidance about contracts in general, what contracts should be reviewed by Legal Affairs (and possibly others), and what else should be done so that the risk associated with the University entering the contract is managed appropriately.
