Learning Programs

Knowledge is not transferred, it is formed. In higher education, instructors are moving away from the traditional lecture style of teaching and moving toward a learner-centered approach. Therefore, the answers will not be given. Instead, students must learn how to formulate the answers. This often proves to be a difficult challenge when transitioning to college.

Do not panic. We know that learning how to learn is a skill and a science. We offer many programs that seek to sharpen this skill by helping students discover more about themselves, their individual style of learning, the various methods that work best, and the thrill of knowing that they can learn how to learn almost anything.
