Interdenominational Ministry

Campus Ministry has at its heart the desire to be present with you as you seek to develop your faith life. The Campus Minister for Interdenominational Ministry helps nurture the spiritual needs of students from various Protestant backgrounds.

We are called "Interdenominational Ministry" because we are composed of various denominations and backgrounds. While we do not identify as any one denomination, we commit to worshiping together from whatever denominational identity we hold. We are not in the business of creating new denominations, but rather we seek to honor the background and perspective of all who wish to worship Christ.

If you are looking for a place to plug in your faith life (no matter its shape) and you are ready to be challenged to hear God's voice in your everyday life, then UDIM is the community for you. If you wonder exactly where you fit in with faith but know you want to fit, UDIM is still the community for you. Won't you come grow with us?

Leadership Team

Our leadership team meets weekly to plan and host various events within UDIM including retreats, community service projects, prayer services, dinners, receptions and more. We have as a goal to program within the five areas of worship, evangelism, discipleship, fellowship and ministry in an effort to provide well-rounded Christian growth.

Want a personal, student perspective on UDIM presence and involvement? Any of our Leadership Team members would be happy to share God and community with you.

It's as simple as saying, "Here am I, Lord!" Just contact Rev. Dr. Cox or show up at worship service or Bible study. Most importantly, just come with a heart to worship and grow in your community and faith, and I guarantee you we'll meet you in the middle!

A weekly worship service is held on Sundays at 4:00 p.m. in the Marianist Hall Chapel. Communion is offered monthly on first Sundays.

God's word must grow in our hearts in order for us to continuing growing into the men and women we were designed to become. One way we do this weekly is with Bible study in the Marianist Hall Chapel, days and times to be determined.

We are asked to share Christ, and UDIM does this through our series of God-Talks, created around various topics of faith, evangelism and love for God.

Fellowship is at the heart of who we are as UDIM. Planned and impromptu fellowships include game nights throughout the semester, coffeehouse-type gatherings, bowling and much more. Be warned: we take our gaming seriously, so come with your best "game" in tow!

Being present in community means being active in community! UDIM takes this to heart and intentionally puts back into the community. We commit to making service a part of our regular calendar whether donating school supplies locally, serving at food banks, collecting clothing for shelters or many other quality offerings.

We leave campus on Friday afternoon and head to Indian Lake for a time of fun, faith and fellowship before returning Sunday afternoon. Your retreat fee of $40 covers lodging for two nights, transportation and all meals! (Scholarships available on a first come, first served basis.) Space is limited, so sign up early!
