Global Investment Forum Draws the Best in the Biz

The RISE VII Global Investment Forum at the University of Dayton on Thursday, March 29, 2007, will host a group of internationally renowned industry leaders to share their wisdom and outlook on the markets, economy, corporate governance, public policy and Federal Reserve perspective.

Some of the keynote speakers include the commissioner of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the president and COO of McDonald's Corp., the chairman of Molson Coors Brewing Co., the governors of the Bank of Mexico and Bank Indonesia and the editor in chief of Kiplinger's Personal Finance, to name a few.

This is the seventh year for RISE (Redefining Investment Strategy Education), which is the world's largest student investment forum. Last year's event attracted more than 1,500 attendees —including finance students and faculty from 197 schools throughout 22 countries, as well as 400 business professionals from around the country. The students will stay through March 31 to attend specialized breakout sessions, workshops, networking receptions, a career strategies forum and an optional portfolio competition.

The March 29 keynote day of RISE VII, which is open to professionals, will take place at the University of Dayton Arena. Registration is $180 (including lunch) before March 1, 2007, and $225 after that date. Pre-registration is required and will close March 16, 2007. On-site registration will not be available. The program will run from 8 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. and feature discussions on the economy, markets, Federal Reserve perspective, corporate governance and public policy.
