FAFSA Workshop

The University of Dayton invites high school seniors and their families to attend a free workshop about completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on the Web on Saturday, Feb. 17, from 9 a.m. to noon at the University of Dayton Anderson Center.

Students will learn about the different types of financial aid available and financial aid counselors will be available to answer questions.

During the workshop, students can also fill out the FAFSA online for the 2007-2008 academic year.

If students intend to complete the FAFSA on the Web during the workshop they must register for a PIN at http://www.pin.ed.gov no later than seven to 10 days prior to the workshop. Students must also bring 2006 W-2s and federal income tax information for themselves and their parents. Students are advised to download and read the FAFSA on the Web worksheet at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov.

No reservations are required and parking will be available in Lot B. For more information, contact the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid at 800-427-5029 or by e-mail at sfa.info@udayton.edu, or speak to a high school guidance counselor.

For more on the workshop, contact Lisa Perdomo, senior financial aid counselor, at (937) 229-4311 or email sfa.info@udayton.edu.
