Preview of PBS Series at UD School of Law

Law and political science professors will discuss the history and future of the U.S. Supreme Court after a free preview of "The Supreme Court: Nation of Liberties."

A free, public viewing of the second episode of a new PBS series, "The Supreme Court: Nation of Liberties," will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5, at the UD School of Law in conjuction with a discussion of the history and future of the U.S. Supreme Court.

The episode also will air Feb. 7 on ThinkTV.

UD School of Law Dean Lisa Kloppenberg, author of Playing it Safe: How the Supreme Court Dodges Hard Cases and Stunts the Development of the Law, will join UD law professors Dennis Greene and Rich Saphire, and the Rev. John Putka, a UD political science lecturer, in the discussion. Walter Rice, a senior federal judge, will moderate the panel.
