The University and Central State will co-host several events in hopes of building stronger relationships between the institutions as they prepare for the Dayton Classic IV football game.

As the Flyers gear up for this Sunday's game against the Central State Marauders in the Dayton Classic IV football game, both schools have hosted social, cultural and academic events to build a stronger relationship between the two institutions.

At a community pep rally Friday, Aug. 29, UD and Central State cheerleaders, football players and bands will publicize the game and build community spirit. It takes place at noon on Courthouse Square, Third and Main streets, downtown Dayton. All are welcome.

The football game is at 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 31, at Welcome Stadium; tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children 12 and younger; call 229-4433 or purchase tickets at the stadium on game day.
