Ahead of the Trend

USA Today reported on the University of Dayton's enrollment boom, highlighting an increase in out-of-state students in the incoming first-year class.

The University of Dayton's near-record first-year class this fall was highlighted by USA Today on Thursday, Sept. 4, in a story about booming enrollments at some schools nationally.

The story quotes Sundar Kumarasamy, vice president for enrollment management, about the 12 percent rise over last year, and notes that three-fourths of the increase came from out-of-state students enrollment.

USA Today is the No. 1 daily newspaper in the US with a print circulation of nearly 2.3 million and a significant online readership.
