Assembly of Faith

After more than a year of study, the chapel renovation committee has arrived at two possible seating layouts for the chapel renovation and expansion and is gathering feedback. Try them out on Thursday, April 23, in the Kennedy Union ballroom.

The chapel renovation committee invites the campus community to experience and give feedback on two final seating options for the renovation and expansion of the Immaculate Conception Chapel.

The committee, which has spent the past year studying design and seating options with architects and liturgical consultants, will summarize the theology behind the designs and the differences between them, then offer the opportunity to try out both — all in an hour. Refreshments will be served as the seats are being rearranged. Each seating plan will remain in place for 25 minutes.

The sessions start at 11 a.m. and noon Thursday, April 23, in the Kennedy Union ballroom. After the sessions, attendees will have the opportunity to share their impressions of each.
