H1N1 Flu Information

A new University of Dayton Web site is a comprehensive source of information and updates on the H1N1 virus for students, parents, faculty, staff and visitors to campus.

While the University of Dayton has had no confirmed cases of H1N1 flu as of Wednesday, Sept. 9, a one-stop center of information has been established online.

The new site http://www.udayton.edu/flu provides the most updated announcements and information on how to stay healthy and prevent the spread of the virus as well as resources and contacts for students, parents, faculty, staff and visitors to campus.

"We are committed to safeguarding the health of University of Dayton students," said Sister Annette Schmeling, R.S.C.J., vice president for student development and dean of students. "We have embarked on an aggressive educational campaign to help students avoid the flu and reduce its spread."

The section on Frequently Asked Questions may be especially helpful to parents, she said.
