Home Sweet Home

The women's soccer team hosts the first and second rounds of the NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Championships starting Nov. 13.

The University of Dayton women's soccer team earned a berth in the NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Championships by winning the Atlantic 10 tournament and will host first- and second-round games starting Nov. 13.

The Flyers (16-0-5), which haven't been in the tournament since 2004 or hosted a tournament match since 1999, will play Marquette (15-5-2) at Baujan Field Friday, Nov. 13.

This is the sixth NCAA tournament appearance for the Flyers, which also made it in 1999 and 2001 through 2004.

Dayton is one of only two unbeaten teams in the nation, with the other being No. 1 Stanford. The Flyers own the nation's current longest unbeaten streak.

Murray State (11-8-2) and Virginia Tech (14-7-0) will play in the other first-round match Friday at Baujan Field.

Game times will be announced later today.
