Pomp and Circumstance

The University will hold its 160th commencement exercises Saturday, Dec. 18.

More than 450 students, including about 50 who completed their degree requirements in August, will graduate from the University of Dayton during the University's 160th commencement exercises at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, in University of Dayton Arena.

Approximately 232 students will receive a master's degree, 214 will receive an undergraduate degree and 11 will receive a doctoral degree.

The most popular degrees being handed out Saturday are a bachelor's of mechanical engineering, master's of science in engineering management and a master's of science in education.

The University also will honor the graduates with a baccalaureate Mass at 4:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18, in the Immaculate Conception Chapel.
