A Leader Who Serves

The Dayton Development Coalition, which promotes economic development, has named President Daniel J. Curran chair of its board of trustees.

University of Dayton President Daniel J. Curran has been tapped to chair the Dayton Development Coalition's board of trustees.

Curran, who's been a trustee since 2003 and has served on the executive committee for seven years, succeeds Bruce Langos, chief operations officer with Teradata. The Dayton Development Coalition is the region's economic development and public policy advocacy organization.

For nearly a decade, Curran has led the University of Dayton. He serves on numerous national, regional and local boards. In the Dayton region, he focuses on economic development and high-tech issues. In 2006, the Dayton Development Coalition named him the Dayton region’s most outstanding volunteer citizen.
