A formal dedication of the Caldwell Street Apartments, the newest addition to the University's learning-living environment, is slated for Oct. 17.

The University of Dayton will dedicate and bless the new $25 million Caldwell Street Apartments at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 17. The event will take place in the interior courtyard at the arch opening of 225 Stonemill Rd.

In August, approximately 400 students moved into the townhouse-style development along six acres of Brown and Caldwell streets.

The Caldwell Street Apartments are part of a multi-year modernization of the University of Dayton's residential facilities. This summer saw the completion of the final phase of the $10 million renovation of the Campus South apartments. A proposed $10 million renovation of Founders Hall is expected to begin in May.
