Fiscal Year 2018

  • The University of Dayton performed $149.8 million in sponsored research.
  • 92.8 percent performed at the Research Institute
  • 7.2 percent performed in academic departments
  • 91.5 percent of research revenue is from federal sources (DOD, DOE, EPA, NASA, etc)
  • 8.5 percent of research revenue is from state and local governments, business and industry, other universities and foundations.
  • 94 faculty members and 363 graduate and undergrad students were engaged in sponsored research.
