Local Activities

The University of Dayton is actively involved with local government throughout the Dayton area. We make it a point to stay up-to-date on local issues and aware of legislation impacting the Dayton community. As a university, we take pride in the fact that local leaders are also our friends and neighbors. We work together as UD supports the community and vice versa. 

UD colleagues are respectfully asked to coordinate university-related conversations with elected officials' offices with the Government Relations Director, Ted Bucaro (229-4158) or the appropriate Research Institute colleague. Any conversations with elected officials concerning personal matters or those not related to the university require no such coordination.
