Assessment Speakers
During the 2015-16 academic year, the University Assessment Committee and the Office of the Provost began sponsoring national experts to facilitate dialogue with the campus community focusing on improving student learning at UD, cultivating a culture of assessment, and strengthening assessment practices.

2015-16: Linda Suskie
Linda Suskie gave presentations for two campus-wide sessions: "How Good is Good Enough? Principles for Setting Assessment Benchmarks" and "The State of Assessment in Higher Education," as well as facilitated conversations with several smaller groups about improving assessment practices. This digital archive includes videos of the campus-wide sessions, presentation slides, Suskie's post-visit report, and additional resources.

2016-17: Karen Tarnoff, Ph.D.
Karen Tarnoff gave presentations for two campus-wide sessions on the topics of "What Assessment Is and Isn't" and the "Assurance of Learning Process." She also led a number of interactive sessions with smaller groups, including one on developing rubrics. This digital archive includes videos of the campus-wide sessions, presentation slides, and many assurance of learning resources.
