CAP 101: What is CAP? Why should I care about it?

This luncheon session is intended for members of the campus community who regularly interact with students, including faculty (including department chairs, adjuncts, lecturers, tenure-track, and tenured) and staff (including advisors, departmental administrative assistants, and Student Development staff).

CAP 101 will provide an overview of CAP, explain its structure, and answer questions participants have about CAP. This conversation will be helpful for those individuals who are new to CAP, as well as those who have learned about it but want a refresher.

The CAP Office hosts a mix of semi-structured and unstructured opportunities for faculty and staff to think about CAP course design/redesign, as well as the 4-Year Review process, and to connect with colleagues who are in similar stages. 

Faculty members can attend as many sessions as they want, depending on their availability and interest. Five different types of sessions are scheduled, as listed below. Advance registration is requested so the CAP Office can plan appropriately for materials and refreshments.
