Information Sessions

Information Sessions will be held in November 2017 for those interested in living in a Marianist Student Community for the 2018-2019 school year.  At least one member from your potential community must attend an information session to apply, though all potential community members are encouraged to attend!  Check back for the specific dates and times!

Application Process

If you have decided to apply to live in a Marianist Student Community and have gathered a group of 5-6 students, you will be asked to complete the following steps:

1.  Review the MSC Community Expectations  and the expectations for Special Interest Houses

2.  Each member must complete a separate Application for Marianist Student Communities (available in November). On the application you will indicate the other members of your community.
Applications must be sent to Mike Sievers no later than Monday, December 4th at 5:00pm via email to rectorevents@udayton.edu.

3.  Community Interviews will be held between December 11-15, 2017.

Communities will be notified of their conditional selection in January, and chosen communities will then complete the Application for Special Interest Housing.  Final assignments are a joint decision between the Office for Mission and Rector and Housing, and follow the Special Interest Housing timeline.

Note:  A minimum of 8 PATH credits per person will be required to be placed in an MSC legacy house, and more may be required if placed in the general Special Interest pool.
