Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC)
The IACUC is responsible for assessment and oversight of the institution’s animal and veterinary care, animal care and use policies and procedures, personnel and program management and oversight, occupational health and safety, and animal facility design and management.  

Institutional Review Board (IRB) or Human Research Protections
The Institutional Review Board (IRB), formerly referred to as the Committee for the Protection of Human Subjects in Research, is a standing committee at the University of Dayton established in compliance with federal policy for the protection of human subjects in research.  

Business Ethics & Integrity Code For Sponsored Research
Throughout our history, UDRI employees and consultants have conducted our business with high standards of ethics and integrity. As a government contractor, compliance with applicable laws and regulations has always been an essential condition for performing our business.

Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Training
As directed by the America COMPETES Act of 2007, Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Training is required of all undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdoctoral researchers who will participate in National Science Foundation (NSF) funded programs awarded after January 4, 2010. 

Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)
The University of Dayton promotes health, safety and environmental protection in teaching, research, public service and administrative activities by providing technical support, information and training, consultation, and periodic audits of environmental, health and safety practices and regulatory compliance.
