Whether assisting a practitioner in providing pro bono services, preparing a meal for the homeless, or serving real clients through the law clinic, UD School of Law (UDSL) students have long been known for their passionate dedication to working as a community to help the poor and marginalized. All of our students are encouraged to sign the Pro Bono Commitment to Community pledge in which they promise to complete at least 50 hours of pro bono work or community service during their years at UDSL.
