General Manager and Music Director
Carson Smith is a Senior Electronic Media major with a minor in marketing and religious studies from Annapolis MD. Carson has been involved with Flyer Radio since his freshmen year and is currently the General Manager and Music Director. Carson is responsible for bringing you some of the best new music on air as well as all making sure the station as a whole is a success. He is on-air every Friday from 2-4pm with TCIF:Thank Carson It’s Friday, so make sure to tune in! Carson is also a member of the Ebony Heritage Singers and Music Minister for the 9PM Mass at the McGinnis Center. Lastly, my two favorite bands are FleetwoodMac and the 10,000 Maniacs. Bobby Beebe is a Junior English major from Cincinnati OH. He has been involved with Flyer Radio since his freshman year on a show called The Mixtape with co-host Keith Raad. The Mixtape is currently on its third year going over the air. As Programming manager Bobby is in charge of the voice-tracking and scheduling for the station. He deals with a lot of the inneer-workings of the station and makes sure that the DJs are all putting quality shows out over the airwaves. Bobby loves poetry, punk rock and short walks on the beach. He also works as assistant-editor of Orpheus (the campus literary magazine) and has had a few poems of his own published. My name is Steven and I am a senior entrepreneurship and MIS major at the University. This will be my fourth year at Flyer Radio. I am the productions manager. Amanda is a senior Electronic Media major who has been with Flyer Radio since Fall of 2010 when she was only a freshman. She has dreams of sound editing for television and film and her dream job is working at BBC. With a passion for the arts, and social media, Amanda has worked at ArtStreet since junior year. Along with her friend and fellow manager Liz Rosevear, she has been the host of "That Cleverly Named Show" Monday nights from 8-10PM on Flyer Radio. Amanda is in charge of Flyer Radio events and external relations. She is also in charge of the weekly Thursday Night Live broadcast from ArtStreet Cafe. Hey, I'm Keith Raad, an electronic media major from Long Island, New York. At the station I am the Sports Director. My committee and I provide play-by-play and color commentary for most UD sports. In the Fall we have television productions for Football, Soccer, and Volleyball. In the winter we broadcast Men's and Women's Basketball at the UD Arena, and in the Spring we do baseball and softball. During the week, I take a break from the sports side of things and join Bobby Beebe for our two hour show, "The Mixtape" on Monday nights from 6-8pm.
