RECkids Camp Registration

RECkids Camp will be available for registration the second Monday of March. 
Registration forms (via fax, mail, email, or in person drop-off) will not be accepted before this time. As always, camp availability is on a first come, first served basis.

Please follow the steps below to register for RECkids Camp. Please contact the RECkids Mailbox with questions regarding registration, or visit the About Camp page.

1. Complete Registration Form

Start by completing the registration form for the camp weeks you're wanting to enroll. Please note form will not be linked until the week prior to registration opening. 

Download all forms and save them to your desktop before filling them out. 

2. Submit Forms and Payment

Once the registration form is complete, submit it one of the following ways:

  • VISIT the RecPlex Main Office (9:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday) or Welcome Desk during business hours to drop off forms in person and complete payment. We accept cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
  • FAX forms to 937.229.2703. A representative will contact you to collect credit card payment over the phone.

3. Complete Minor's Paperwork and Medical Forms

Minor's Paperwork is now collected through a system called CampDoc. Once registration and payment for camp have been received, an email will be sent from CampDoc with further instructions on setting up a Minors Emergency Medical Profile. 

Please Note: This profile must be updated each calendar year. Participants will be unable to attend camp until all paperwork and CampDoc requirements have been met.

Pricing

WEEKLY Camp PRICING
  • UD Rate: $140 per week
  • Community Rate: $165 per week

UD RATE DEFINED
The UD rate applies to current students, faculty/staff and UDCR members. Verification via official University ID will be requested at time of registration.

RECKIDS CAMP SIBLING RATE DEFINED
Full price for the first child; $15 off every additional sibling registration within the same week of camp.

Early Drop-Off/late pick-up

To help accommodate schedules, campers may register for early drop-off prior to the start of camp, between 7:30am–8:00am, or stay for late pick-up after the camp day ends, between 5:00pm–5:30pm. Extended care is an additional cost for each camper and must be registered for the week in advance. These prices cannot be pro-rated.

  • Early Drop-Off: $15/week
  • Late Pick-Up: $15/week

If your child is NOT registered for the extended care portion of RECkids Camp, we ask that you check in your child between 8:00am and 9:00am and pick your child up prior to 5:00pm. If your child is checked in before 8:00am, you will be charged the Early Drop-Off fee of $15 for that week. Campers who leave camp after 5:00pm on any day will be charged the Late Pick-Up fee $15 for that week.

Other Details You Need to Know

Registration timelines and wait lists

Registration form and payment must be submitted to UDCR concurrently. Payment must be made in full at the time of registration to ensure your child's space in camp. Camp registration for each week closes when the maximum capacity is reached or by the registration deadline, whichever comes first.

A weekly waitlist system is in place and will be used to fill vacancies in maximum capacity weeks as they become available.

REFUND POLICY

It is necessary for the RECkids Camp Director to properly plan for the number of campers scheduled for each week. With this in mind, the following refund policy has been developed by UDCR administration: 

  • Refund request made 30 days or more prior to the first day of the camp week will be refunded in full minus a $10 administrative fee.
  • Refund request made 29 to 11 days prior to the first day of the camp week will be refunded at 50% minus a $10 administrative fee.
  • Refund request made 10 days or fewer prior to the first day of the camp week will not be given. Illness, injury, or other extraneous circumstances documented by a physician or accredited third-party representative may be directed to the Aquatics Director for consideration of a refund. These requests will be reviewed on a case by case basis and may or may not be awarded.
