Substance-Free Option

Club 6

Club 6 is a student organization that offers substance-free parties and activities in the student neighborhood.  These events are open to all UD students.  The club is not anti-alcohol, but rather it promotes responsible alcohol use. The Center for Alcohol and Other Drugs Resources and Education has supported and now advises the student organization, Club 6 for several years.

Substance Free Housing

The Substance-Free Designed Learning Experience is available for rising sophomores.  This Designed Learning Experience (DLE) is a community that provides emotional, spiritual, and academic support for those living substance-free. The members of the DLE have volunteered to live as a community, keeping each other accountable in living a substance-free lifestyle and supporting one another in their daily lives.

The Substance-Free Designed Learning Experience is not a Recovery Community or Recovery Program.  It is simply a housing option available for those who wish to live with others choosing to live substance-free.

Student Programming

The Center for Student Involvement provides students with fun, free programming. Campus Activities Board (CAB) is a student run programming board that works with the Center for Student Involvement to provide fun events for UD students. These events are both on and off campus and usually free or low cost. #UDLateNight provides an exciting calendar of events every weekend! This events are FREE and open to all UD students.
