Billing Procedures

Undergraduate and law students are eligible for Health Center office visits at no extra charge.  Graduate and IEP students pay on a fee for service basis at the Health Center.  The charge for a physician visit ranges from $45 to $75, depending on the length of the visit and the type of services provided.  Charges for medicines dispensed, allergy injections, immunizations, laboratory tests, and x-ray examinations, and other miscellaneous items are billed to ALL STUDENTS.

The Health Center does not bill health insurance companies directly.  All charges incurred at the Student Health Center are reported to the Office of Student Accounts to be entered on the student's account.  

If you have any questions regarding bills or health insurance claims, please contact the Health Center for assistance between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. during weekdays. Itemized statements can be provided upon the patient's request.. The Health Center does not handle any payment transactions and all charges should be paid through the Office of Student Accounts.
