Summer Housing

The University of Dayton offers summer housing options for the support of UD students enrolled in summer classes, engaged in summer work-study/experiential learning opportunities, and those engaged in graduate assistanceships or similar.

The University provides a number of different summer housing options including: double occupancy rooms, single occupancy rooms, 4-person apartments, 2-person apartments, and single occupancy apartments. Options are available for the entire summer period, individual academic terms, or shorter stays as needed.

Applications for summer housing are available in mid-April of each year and can be found via the student housing portal. Housing opens for summer based upon dates published as part of the University’s academic calendar. Students with need for year round housing or students who wish to remain on campus during the period between spring and summer semesters may elect to request transition housing (spring semester extended stay/summer semester early arrival).

Intern Housing

Summer housing is available for students from other accredited colleges/universities who are engaged in local (Dayton area) internships or similar experiential learning opportunities. Interested students are encouraged to contact UD’s Conference Services for additional information.
