Second Year Options

The University of Dayton has a two year housing requirement.  Most students are assigned to traditional residence halls in their first year with cinder block walls and are introduced to what it means to live in community at the University of Dayton.  Students are assigned to housing in their second year that builds on the foundations built in their first year.  Many of the residence halls for second year students have private bathrooms and some include kitchens in their suite.  Second year students are primarily assigned to Virginia W. Kettering Hall, Campus South, Garden Apartments, Irving Commons and Marianist.
