This is the last day to register for the Intramural Sand Volleyball and Intramural Outdoor 3v3 Basketball leagues. Spots are first come, first served. Leagues range from Men, Women, or Coed. You can sign up an entire team, or register as a Free Agent! The IM Spikeball Tournament also closes on 8/27! The tournament will occur Saturday, September 1st from 12 noon - 5pm on the RecPlex Sand Volleyball courts.

Speaking of Sex...

Brought back by popular demand, "Speaking of Sex" is a powerful production that tracks 6 students as they try to untangle the complicated web of sexual miscommunication.  It covers the basics: how language influences attitudes and actions, how to communicate with a partner who won't listen, and how to stop the passion when your partner says "no".  Through three scenes that depict typical college experiences, you will explore your values and beliefs around critical topics related to sexual communication, consent, hooking up, gender, and sexual assault.  Don't miss this unique theater event!

No audition is required to join UD's gospel choir! Perform music from the African-American sacred music tradition with students from a variety of academic disciplines and ethnic backgrounds, and be an ambassador for racial reconciliation. The Ebony Heritage Singers rehearse weekly, Tuesdays from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Students may register for MUS 390-15.

The Intensive English Program (IEP) offers a drop in conversation groups on alternating Wednesday and Friday afternoons. World Exchanges are designed to assist IEP students in practicing their English conversation skills, while also offering U.S. students a chance to practice their intercultural communication skills.  Each day will offer a variety of both open and structured conversation opportunities. World Exchanges will be offered only during week’s 2-5 of the IEP terms.

Hiking at Clifton Gorge Nature Preserve

Get outside, connect with nature, and enjoy a day in the beautiful Clifton Gorge Nature Preserve. On the trail, hikers will view spectacular wildflowers, 400 year-old trees, limestone cliffs, waterfalls,, and hike along the Wild and Scenic Little Miami River. The group will stop for a picnic lunch (pack your own) along the route. Participants are required to wear closed toe shoes and dress for the weather. After the hike, participants will have the chance for brief exploration in the town of Yellow Springs. Space is limited, preregister at the RecPlex Welcome Desk to reserve your spot! Transportation is provided from the Outdoor Engagement Center, 438 Stonemill Road.
